Highschool Of The Dead May 2026

The story begins with a sudden, deadly pandemic that transforms humans into zombies, referred to by the characters as "them". The plot follows a group of teenagers—primarily Takashi Komuro and his classmates Rei Miyamoto, Saeko Busujima, Saya Takagi, and Kohta Hirano—as they fight their way out of Fujimi High School. The survivors navigate a broken society, confronting both the undead and, often, more dangerous human scavengers. Takashi Komuro: A sophomore and the group's lead survivor. Rei Miyamoto: Takashi's childhood friend. Saeko Busujima: A skilled swordsman and leader in combat. Saya Takagi: A self-proclaimed genius and strategist. Kohta Hirano: A gun expert and weapon specialist.
