Earl Keese (Belushi) leads a boring, predictable life in a quiet suburban street until a bizarre couple moves into the long-deserted house next door. Almost immediately, Vic (Aykroyd) and Ramona (Moriarty) begin to systematically dismantle Earl's sanity through series of increasingly unbelievable and offensive events—ranging from false accusations to bizarre dinner invitations.
