Leo froze. On the screen, a dark, wheezing figure emerged from the hallway behind his digital self. Panicked, Leo turned around in the real world. His hallway was empty. He looked back at the monitor. The figure was now inches away from the back of his chair, its grey, oxygen-masked face filling the frame.
