The story follows Alexis "Alex" Faraday, a mysterious former CIA agent turned thief, who is pulled into a diamond heist in by her former partner, Kevin Fuller. During the robbery, her mask is removed, exposing her identity. She soon discovers that the job was never about the diamonds; it was a front to retrieve a highly sensitive data drive containing incriminating evidence against a U.S. Senator.

After Kevin is brutally murdered by a "cleaning squad" led by the sadistic Mr. Washington, Alex becomes their primary target. The film turns into a high-stakes cat-and-mouse chase as she uses her specialized skills in martial arts and firearms to stay alive and expose the truth.
