He climbed back in and fired the engine. The roar of the V8 felt different tonight—more grounded. "Where to?" Marek yelled over the rumble.
Elias climbed down and walked around to the front of the rig. The change was immediate. Gone were the dull, silver-gray stock wheels. In their place stood deep-dish steel rims with intricate lug nut detailing and custom-engraved hubcaps that caught the dim light. "Smarty updated the textures," Elias muttered, his fingers flying over the keys. "High-definition chrome, paintable hubs, and the tire physics are supposed to be more realistic on wet asphalt. It’s not just about the look, Marek. It’s about the grip." He climbed back in and fired the engine
"The Carpathian passes," Elias grinned, shifting into gear. "Let’s see if Smarty really knows how to handle a hairpin turn in a storm." Elias climbed down and walked around to the front of the rig
